Great North Run 2022

Join our Great North Run build up for all abilities this Summer for members & non members.

In the lead up to this years Great North Run, we’re starting our focused GNR running sessions for all levels of ability.

An initial taster session will take place on Wednesday 13th July 6.30pm. The session will involve an introductory chat, warm up running exercises, group run + running technique to finish. All levels are welcome. The sessions will continue each Wednesday in the build up to the big day.

Meeting point is next to the New Crown roundabout, pictured below.

The training plan will be led by experienced runner/coach Luke Adams, who has ran over 10 Great North Runs, with a best time of 1 hour & 10 minutes.

The plans can also be followed in your own time with online support via a Facebook members group (Open to members & non members that are comfortable running up to 5km / 3.1 mile distance)

The initial taster session deposit is £10 and the full plan is £40 (£30 balancing payment after the taster session)

Please give your first initial + surname + GNR as a reference E.g. LAdamsGNR

Step 2. Email luke@runeatsleep.co.uk with your full name, emergency contact details, and medical information if any. Luke will confirm your place ready for the taster session & grant access to the Facebook members group.
