10 Mile Volunteers

Hi everyone please see below info for the volunteer roles for Sunday 3rd August. 

Thank you so much for offering your time and support. 

PLEASE BRING SUITABLE CLOTHING FOR THE MORNING & SOME FOOD/DRINKS WITH YOU. YOU COULD ALSO BRING A DECKCHAIR TOO.

I still have a few roles to add this week and can amend roles if needed. Just let me know if the roles work for you. 

As always with RES runs & events – a big part of it is making people feel welcome, valued and giving everyone lots of support throughout the morning. 

car parking Feel free to use the main Souter Lighthouse Car park for parking, as you may not be able to get out of the field car parking that the runners are parking in. 

first aid There will be a first aid team out on the course and at the finish area. I will give you their contact number on the day for any issues. 

emergency You can contact me on the day for any issues, but please only if it is urgent as I do try to keep my phone free for emergencies. 

I’d like to invite all of the volunteers for a drink on the Monday 4th August after the club run at the New Crown at 7.45pm. It’s always nice to get a volunteer team photo as it’s not always easy on the day. Please take one of the new orange RES buffs on the day of the run too. 

Registration ON THE DAY is from 7.30am

You can collect a high viz jacket at Souter Lighthouse from 8.30am

The run starts at 9am and we expect to be finished by 12pm at the latest. If you do need to leave earlier please let me know. ONCE THE TAIL RUNNER (LISA SEALES) HAS PAST TWICE THE MARSHALLING POSTS CAN BE LEFT. IF YOU CAN BRING ANY OF THE SIGNAGE/ARROWS BACK WITH YOU AFTERWARDS THAT WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED.
